Over the last decade, TDRS has delivered hundreds Group 1-3 drones that emulate sUAS target aircraft and has conducted thousands of sorties for C-sUAS exercises and demonstrations at various locations including Ft Sill, OK; White Sands Missile Range, NM; Yuma Proving Grounds, AZ; Dugway Proving Ground, UT; China Lake NWS, CA; Pt Mugu, CA; Ft Benning GA; Eglin AFB, FL; Camp Atterbury Muscatatuck Urban Training Centers, IN; and the 9-Mile High Training Centers, TX. Our UASs are equipped for C-sUAS tracking, supporting both kinetic and electronic. Additionally, we offer turbine, gasoline, and electric-powered drones to address increasing drone threats.
TDRS Emulation of Kamikaze Drone
TDRS is pleased to announce that it has an expendable drone, the TDRS Flanker, capable of emulating the Shahed 136, the Iranian Kamikaze drone used by Russia in Ukraine. Our emulation resembles the Shahed 136. it has a similar visual appearance, relative size, and can match the speed of the Shahed. TDRS has an affordable target drone that closely emulates the Shahed - 136.
Russian and Ukrainian drones have begun extensive employment of turbine powered drones. TDRS has operational expertise with the turbine powered drones. Both the TDRS Twin Hawk Turbine and the TDRS Viper both have a top speed of 170 mph and over 200 mph respectively. These drones have performed well at Yuma Proving Grounds and at our developmental site in Oklahoma.
